Dr
S.S. Sawhney, M.Sc., Ph.D - a postgraduate (Chemistry)
of University of Roorkee (now IIT, Roorkee), and
an academician and educationist of repute, has carned
a name for himself in the field of education and
research and development programme(s). He has supervised
and guided more than 30 Ph.D theses, and published
about 100 research publications in National and
International research journals. Dr Sawhney is increasingly
engaged in research and development programmes as
diverse as medicine, pharmacy and biotechnology
and microbiology etc.
Dr. Sawhney is a Patentee, an inventor and discoverer
of new analytical reagents, pH- Indicator(s) and
a developer of |

new
mathematical treatments which have contributed to
the resolution of the determination of densities
of the binary mixtures, and solids (organics or
salts etc). Dr. Sawhney’s HES theory propounded
in 1995 has resolved the body condition unknown
to the scientific community.His educational contributions
in education and development have earned him (Dr.
S.S. Sawhney) many honours: - Who’s Who in the world
(USA), and Who’s Who in Science & Engineering
(USA). He edits a scientific journal too.
There are many more educational initiatives up his
sleeves, being pursued very hoty by him in the interests
of the students, and country at large, and in line
with the needs and demands of the students and society. |
